Something worthy of entering in this blog probably happened this year, but I can't remember what it is, so here are some photos of my "jig" used when sharpening chainsaw chains. A large vice is often used to hold the chainsaw bar steady, but as I don't have one I made this out of scraps of wood and a small G-clamp.
I clamp it to a table or similar to hold everything steady. A shaped log would probably look more impressive ...
